The second meeting by the Working Group on Exchange of Best Practice was held regarding the National Broadband Plans to reflect the new gigabit objectives and national 5G "path-to-deployment"
ZAGREB, October 27, 2017 – Brussels hosted the second meeting of Working Group on Exchange of Best Practices on National Broadband Plans to reflect the new gigabit targets and national 5G "path-to-deployment", abbreviated: COCOM WG NBP / 5G). The Working Group was established to exchange information and plans for improving the national broadband access strategies putting the emphasis on the introduction of 5G technologies.
The second meeting’s main topic was defining the strategic elements of national plans for Broadband access, emphasizing vertical densely installed base stations and the improvement of electronic communications of specific civil services. The meeting was attended by the representatives of regulatory bodies and ministries responsible for the electronic communications in the EU Member States. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by HAKOM’s expert Julijana Jančula Bauer.
