HAKOM at a Workshop on Providing Communication Services for Emergencies across Europe

Under the auspices of the Swiss National Regulatory Authority BAKOM the two-day workshop was organized by the Committee for Electronic Communications (ECC) and the ETSI European Telecommunications Standards Institute.

 
ZAGREB, October 25, 2017 – Following the invitation of the organiser the project team for emergencies ( ECC PT ES) of the Electronic Communications Committee and the ETSI’s technical Committee for emergency communications, a two-day workshop was held in Biel under the auspices of Swiss National Regulatory Authority (Bundesamt für Kommunikation). The workshop brought together a number of stakeholders who had responsibility and expressed their interest in delivering emergency communication services across Europe. The workshop was also a good opportunity to exchange experiences to cooperate on the issues of common interest that can affect future policy, regulation and standards in the area of ​​emergency communications. Participation in workshops is limited to the ETSI, ECC PT ES Members. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Vesna Gašpar, Senior Communications Services Expert.
