HAKOM at the Meeting of the Working Groups Responsible for the International Roaming in Brussels

The objective of the meeting of the working group was the exchange of experience of the regulatory bodies in implementing the new regulatory framework as well as the comparison of operator’s practices while forming roaming charges for the end-users.
ZAGREB, October 13, 2017 – Following the invitation of BEREC (Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications) Brussels hosted the meeting of International Roaming Expert Working Group – IR EWG. The objective of the meeting of the working group was the exchange of experience of the regulatory bodies in implementing the new regulatory framework as well as the comparison of operator’s practices while forming roaming charges for the end-users. Within the scope of the meeting held with the EU consumer protection body BEUC, which presented the experiences in implementing new roaming regulations in the EU Member States and the impact of new roaming regulations on providing "zero-rated" services.
The participants of the meeting were representatives of the regulatory bodies of the EU Member States, members of the European Commission and renowned experts in the field of electronic communications. The meeting was attended by experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) Mislav Hebel and Andro Marčev.
