A roundtable on "Broadband Internet Access and the Development of Smart Cities as a Prerequisite for Rural Development" was held in Gospić

ZAGREB, October 2, 2017 - On Friday, September 29, at the Polytechnic of "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić, a round table was held within the scope of the 3rd Interdisciplinary Scientific and Professional Conference with the international sign entitled "Sustainable Development of Rural Areas 2017", round was held a table on "Broadband Internet Access and the Development of Smart Cities as a Prerequisite for Rural Development". Mr. Mario Weber Executive  Director at HAKOM took part in the round table as a moderator. Other participants were  as follows: Ms Marija Boban from the Faculty of Law of the University of Split, Mr Goran Vojković and Mr. Mislav Bilović in front of the City of Senj.

The conference was opened by Vlatka Ružić, Dean of the University of Zagreb. Darko Nekić, the State Secretary at the Ministry of  Public Administration took part in the opening ceremony as well as  Vice Nekić  Envoy  and County Prefect Deputy of Lika Sinj County, Dr. Branislav Šutić the President of the City Council of the City of Otočac and the former Dean of the Polytechnics,  Petar Radošević, President of  the City Hall Gospić, Sanjin Rukavina, Mayor of the City of Senj, Nataša Turbić, Mayor of Gračac Municipality, Luka Matijević Director of ŽUC. and many other guests.
