HAKOM at the Meeting of the ERGP Working Party

The topic of the meeting was the regulation of access prices to the postal network of the universal service provider, as well as the documentation drafted within the scope of the party.
ZAGREB, Sept 20, 2017 – Following the invitation of the organizer the Serbian Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services of RATEL (Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services), Belgrade hosted a two-day meeting of the working group "Regulatory Accounting / Price Regulation sub - up - Cost of access to the postal network and services "operating under the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP).
The discussion topic was documentation drafted within the working group, and it refers to the Report on the regulation of the price of access to the postal network of the universal service provider. The Report represents the legislative conditions and adopted methodologies for regulating the prices of access to the postal networks in all EU Member States and candidate countries. In addition, the Report presents all the operational and economic conditions for providing postal network access to individual EU Member States and candidate countries. The objective of the meeting is preparation of reports for the ERGP plenary session which should be held in November 2017.
Participants of the meeting were the representatives of regulatory bodies from the EU Member States and candidates for the EU membership, experts in the field of postal services. HAKOM’s expert Ivan Gilja actively participated in the meeting.
