HAKOM at the Meeting of Working Party of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services

The Working Party deals with cross-border parcels and practice issues in the postal services markets of the EU Member States and candidate countries, with particular emphasis on the current legislative procedure of the EC Regulation on Cross-Border Parcel Delivery Services.
 
ZAGREB, September 19, 2017 – Following the invitation of the organizer ILR Luxembourg's National Regulatory Authority, Luxembourg hosted the meeting of the working party entitled "Cross-border parcels delivery ", the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP)
 
The meeting’s topic were the documents related to the existing and future harmonization of the regulatory framework in the EU cross-border parcel delivery, including the trends in domestic markets of all the EU Member States. Very important topic was the preparation of the report of this working group for the forthcoming ERGP activities (research results on existing legislative frameworks and positive practices in the area of parcels delivery of each of the EU Member States over the past period) completion of the legislative procedure of Proposal for a Regulation on cross-border parcel delivery services.

Participants of the meeting were representatives of national regulatory authorities of the EU Member States and membership candidates, the renowned experts in the field of postal services. The meeting was also attended by expert of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), Andrej Sardelić, Head of Postal Services Department.
