ZAGREB, July 17, 2017-This year’s 17th Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR-17) organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) was held in Nassau, the Bahamas, in the period from 11 to 14 July. The meeting, traditionally bringing together national leaders with the aim to exchange the experiences and attitudes, gathered almost five hundred representatives of regulatory bodies, state institutions, operators and equipment manufacturers from around the world. - This year’s GSR was held under the slogan (Living in a World of Digital Opportunities). The last day of GSR was dedicated to the regulatory challenges and the adoption of conclusions regarding the guidelines based on the experience of regulatory bodies. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was actively involved in this preparatory discussion and HAKOM's experience in the meeting of the Head of Regulatory Bodies was presented by the President of the HAKOM Council Mr. Dražen Lučić.
