HAKOM at the Meeting of the SEETO Working Group

A two-day meeting of the SEETO Working Group was held in Podgorica, Montenegro and HAKOM’s representatives took part in the meeting as lecturers.
ZAGREB, 29 June 2017 - On 29 and 30 June, Podgorica (Montenegro) hosted meeting of the SEETO Working Group (South East Europe Transport Observatory) aimed to enhance local capacity for the implementation of investment programme and development of comprehensive rail networks promoting the infrastructure development cooperation.
On behalf of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), Željka Grgec, Railway Services Department Manager and Dragica Flam, Senior Affairs Legal Expert took part in the meeting with a presentation on the topic "Reports on Operators Network of Service Facilities of Port and Freight Stations". The meeting included the following topics: ERTMS (European Train Control System) the Implementation Scenarios for the Western Balkans Railway Corridors, Report on the Border Crossings Networks, Development of New Freight Services, Experience of a New Freight Carrier and and Business Plan.
Within the scope of the meeting, a round table was held presenting the latest cases and practices of regulators and competition authorities as well as the needs of the railway sector.
