HAKOM's Experts at the International Conference on Fiber-Optic Technologies (FiberWeek 2017)

HAKOM's experts participated at the international conference held on the Isand of Brač. Three presentations were held on the first day of the conference.

  
ZAGREB, April 25, 2017 - The Fourth International Conference on Fiber Technologies and Investments in the Development of Electronic Communications Networks - FiberWeek 2017 was held in Supetar on the island of Brač on April 25-27. The conference was attended by the experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network (HAKOM).
 
During the first day of the conference, HAKOM participated in three exhibitions, followed by a round table discussion whose main topic was "The Development of Broadband Access: Regulatory, Standardization, Planning / Design, Financing, Construction, Management and Services".
 
The presentation at the conference entitled "Fiber Network in Croatia - An Overview of Construction Plans and Fixed Fiber Access Networks" was held by Senior Infrastructure Expert. The second presentation entitled "Low-voltage electrical installations in the building intended for electronic communications" was held by the Head of the Communications Network and Services Division Hrvoje Perica and Senior Infrastructure Expert Vladimir Žuti. The third lecture entitled "Development of Next Generation Access Networks through Projects Funded by the European Structural and Investment Funds" will be held by Ivana Madžar Head of the  EU Funds.
 
The main discussion of the second day of the conference was "Fibers in Mobile Communications, Way to 5G, FTTA". The main topic of the last day of the conference is "Day of Fiber Telecommunication, FTTH, FTTX".
