HAKOM at the Conference of RNE Regulatory Bodies
The most important topics were those related to the rail freight corridors, network report, the process of making the timetable and the international coordination system of the requests for train routes.
ZAGREB, April 7 2017 – Following the invitation of the organizer, Railnet Europe (RNE - organization of the European infrastructure managers and the authorities for capacity allocation), Vienna hosted a Conference of railway regulatory bodies. HAKOM’s Experts Dragica Flam and Kristijan Solina participated at the Conference on behalf of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries. The most important topics at the Conference were those related to the report on the network, the process of making the timetable and the international system of coordination requests for train routes. The Regulatory bodies discussed these topics in order to improve them. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the European Commission who presented the current situation regarding the Amended Annex VII of Directive 2012/34 / EU (the schedule for the rail infrastructure capacity allocation process) while Draft text is currently at the Public Hearing.
