HAKOM at the Meeting of the Working Party on Telecommunications and Information Society and of the Working Group on Postal Services

The Working Party on Telecommunications and Information Society held a meeting whose topic was the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on privacy and protection of personal data in electronic communications. The working group responsible for the postal services discussed the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on cross-border parcel delivery services.
Z AGREB, 30 March 2017 – Brussels hosted the meeting of the Working Party on Telecommunications and Information Society. At the meeting, it was discussed on the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on privacy and protection of personal data in electronic communications. The Regulation will be in line with strict privacy policy on the the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679 / EU).
The meeting of the working group responsible for postal services was held in order to discuss the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on cross-border parcel delivery services. The objective of the proposed Regulation is to removal of cross border barriers via the Internet related to the cross-border parcel delivery services. Jagoda Peleponjko, Senior Legal Affairs Expert took part in the meetings of the Working Party on Telecommunications and Information Society and the Working Group on Postal Services.
