The meeting of the advisory group operating within the scope of the European Commission was held in Brussels.
ZAGREB, February 8, 2017 – The meeting of the Group Policy Management (Radio Spectrum Policy Group - RSPG) was held in Brussels. It is an advisory group operating within the European Commission. The meeting was attended by Željko Tabaković, Assistant Director at Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM).
The most important topic was the regulatory framework for the radio frequency spectrum, the results of the working group on cross-border coordination ("good office") the activities related to the fifth generation of mobile network telecommunications technologies (5G), a report on the Internet of Things and intelligent transport systems. The positions for the next World Radio Communication Conference and the activities on the preparation of digital single market were the topics discussed at the meeting as well.
