HAKOM at this Year's First BEREC Contact Group MeetingNEWSThe main objective of the meeting was the preparation of the 30th regular BEREC Plenary Meeting which was held on February 22 and 23 2017 in Paris, France.
ZAGREB, February 3, 2017 - Following the invitation of the organizer the Swedish Post and Telecommunications Authority (PTS), the first meeting of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications was held on February 2 and 3 in Malmö, Sweden. The objective of the meeting was the preparation of the 30th regular BEREC Plenary Meeting to be held on February 22 and 23, 2017, in Paris, France.
The stakeholders were introduced with the current work of the individual working groups, especially in drafting a detailed analysis of the provision for the proposals of new regulatory framework and guidelines regarding the roaming regulation. The working groups’ results regarding the preparation reports on WACC implementation, the Universal Service Provision and symmetric regulation. The work of the BEREC Office in 2016 was presented as well as the plan in preparation of BEREC medium-term strategy for the period between 2018 and 2020. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Marko Čavlović , Deputy Director at HAKOM and Natalija Boltužić, Council Secretary at HAKOM.
