HAKOM's Experts Gave Lectures on Child Protection on the Internet in the World of Network Technologies

The lecture for the parents of the fifth grade elementary school children, Petar Zrinski was held in Zagreb in order to provide necessary information regarding responsible behaviour when using network technologies when children start using it without permanent supervision by their parents.

ZAGREB, February 1, 2017 – This week, within the scope of the project of child protection on the Internet in the world of network technologies, the experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) held a lecture for parents of the  fifth grade elementary school children Petar Zrinski in Zagreb. On this occasion participants were introduced with HAKOM’s competence as well as with the activities carried out by HAKOM. Parents were also given a booklet entitled "How to Protect Your Child in the World of Internet, Network Technologies and Mobile Phones". The brochure contains practical and useful advice on dangers and the Internet security, privacy and personal data, behaviour and the usage of social networks. The objective of this lecture is to help in primary school children education , as well as to provide the necessary information to their parents about responsible behaviour when using network technologies when children start using it without permanent supervision by their parents. The lecture for parents who were interested in the topic was held by Gordana Kulišić, Senior Consumer Protection Expert and Roland Lipošinović, Senior Information Technologies Expert.
