HAKOM at a joint BEREC and EMERG workshop

A three-day workshop has been organized in Brussels with a view to exchanging experiences between experts from BEREC and representatives of EMERG concerning the evolution of the regulation of roaming in the European Union since the introduction of regulation to complete elimination of roaming fees.

 
Zagreb, 5 December 2016 The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications organized on 5 and 6 December in Brussels a joint workshop of BEREC and the European Mediterranean Regulators Group (EMERG) in order to discuss various issues related to international roaming.

The workshop has been organized with a view to exchanging experiences between experts from BEREC and representatives of EMERG concerning the evolution of the regulation of roaming in the European Union since the introduction of regulation to complete elimination of roaming fees. EMERG representatives will present their views on the development of roaming services.

The meeting was attended by representatives of regulatory authorities from the EU Member States and members of EMERG. Experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), Iva Vučić Donković and Mislav Hebel, also participated in the meeting.
