The meeting focused on the indicators of the electronic communications market, market regulation, availability and development of broadband access in the Republic of Croatia, spectrum management, user protection, right of way and building conditions, investments into electronic communications infrastructure and access to electronic communications infrastructure.
Zagreb, 29 November 2016 – This Tuesday, 29 November, representatives of the European Commission met with representatives of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) concerning the situation on and the development of the electronic communications market in the Republic of Croatia and the challenges with regulation. This was one of the regular visits of the European Commission to the Member States aimed at monitoring the state of the electronic communications market. During their visit, the EC representatives also met with the relevant stakeholders on the electronic communications market.
The most important topics of the meeting between the EC representatives and HAKOM included the indicators of the electronic communications market, market regulation, availability and development of broadband access in the Republic of Croatia, spectrum management, user protection, right of way and building conditions, investments into electronic communications infrastructure and access to electronic communications infrastructure. The European Commission will use the collected data for the preparation of the annual report on the state of the electronic communications market in the Republic of Croatia.
