ZAGREB, 25 November 2016- On November 25, the experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), held the seminar for authorized electrical engineers in the premises of the Technical Faculty in Rijeka. The topic of the seminar was the overview and implementation of regulations in the field of the electronic communications regarding planning, design and construction. The introductory speech was given by Željko Matić, the President of the HKIE and the lecturers were HAKOM's experts Hrvoje Perica, Stjepan odolšak and Vladimir Žuti.

The seminar, attended by 40 licensed electrical engineers, was a good opportunity for HAKOM’s experts to present a range of regulations and applying explanations in the field of planning, design and construction to the certified engineers who are applying the regulations on a daily basis. HAKOM as the law-maker showed a great interest in carrying out the regulations and its implementation. Therefore, the representatives of the Chamber were invited to submit comments regarding the potential difficulties in implementing regulations in order for HAKOM to respond for reasonable objections by amendments to implementing regulations.  An overall quality evaluation and duration of the seminar enabled the fulfilment of prescribed conditions for scoring the seminar participants so that the participants got attendance certificates with a number of evaluation points that serve as evidence of personal professional development to the engineers.
