A seminar on the Internet of Things – IoT organized by the Global System Mobile Association(GSMA) and the Regulatory Communications Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is taking place on 12 and 13 October 2016 in Sarajevo.
Zagreb, 13 October 2016 - A seminar on the Internet of Things – IoT organized by the Global System Mobile Association(GSMA) and the Regulatory Communications Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is taking place on 12 and 13 October 2016 in Sarajevo.
The seminar includes discussions on the meaning of IoT, differences between IoT and traditional voice and text services and incentives behind the IoT market. It also covered predictions concerning interconnection, revenue and socioeconomic impacts of the above-mentioned service as well as the possible business models, the value chain and interconnection technologies for new services and the manner of use of the spectrum. Discussions also covered case studies of smart cities, health care at home, house alarms and the applications of new technology in manufacture.
The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries is represented at the seminar by the expert for communications services, Nikša Crnčević.
