HAKOM's Experts at the Meeting of the Working Group for Radio Frequency Spectrum Control and Monitoring

At the meeting in Copenhagen, a discussion topic was the measuring method of the coverage by LTE and DVB-T / T2 signal, power measurements in the FM area and the measuring vehicles of the European regulators.


ZAGREB, Oct 6 2016 – Following the organization of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) and the ECC - Electronic Communications Committee, WG FM PT22 the Working Group  held the meeting in Copenhagen from  3 to 6 October . The working group is responsible for the issues related to the control and supervision of the radio frequency spectrum, as well as drafting proposals of international recommendations, the development of common measurement techniques and procedures to control the radio frequency spectrum. The practical exchange of experience is of great importance  as well as the  solutions related to the control of the radio frequency spectrum, the organization of measurement campaigns and general principles of measurement and measuring equipment and finally the  information on current ITU-R Recommendations related to  the radio frequency spectrum control.

The main topics of the meeting were measuring LTE and DVB-T / T2 signal coverage, power measurements in the FM area, disturbances in the radio frequency spectrum caused by various sources of radiation, measuring the frequency bands 400MHz and 700MHz, measuring vehicles for control of the radio frequency spectrum of the European regulators.
The Participants of the meeting were the experts in the field of electronic communications and the official representatives of the EU Member States. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Lukša Šeremet  and Dalibor Živković , RF Spectrum Experts.
