The workshop deals with new Regulatory Changes and New Opportunities for Broadband PPDR- public protection and disaster relief.
Zagreb, 29 September 2016 - The workshop, jointly organized by ETSI and CEPT / ECCon Public Protection and Disaster Relief – PPDR was held in Sophia Antipolis(France) on September 2, 2016. The issues discussed at the workshop that was dealing with regulatory changes and new opportunities for broadband PPDR were the standardization and implementation of PPDR in certain countries and challenges caused by these changes, the expected future challenges and problems. The representatives of regulators, security agencies and equipment manufacturers discussed these issues.
The workshop gathered 80 representatives of regulators, the agencies for protection and equipment manufacturers. Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries was represented by Alen Štefanec.
