HAKOM at the workshop entitled "Layer 2 Wholesale Access Products (virtual unbundling, Layer 2 bitstream) and the main challenges"

During the three day workshop the participants will learn about the technical side of Layer 2 wholesale access products and examine real examples from some countries. 
 
ZAGREB, 21 June 2016 – Independent Regulators Group workshop on “Layer 2 Wholesale Access Products (virtual unbundling, Layer 2 bitstream) and the main challengesˮ will start this Wednesday in Brussels. Since 2 Layer wholesale access products are key to offering higher speed and connectivity to users and at the same time stimulate competition between operators, participants in the workshop will learn in detail about the features of the above-mentioned access products.
 
During the workshop participants will learn about the technical side of 2 Layer wholesale products. They will also hear presentations of concrete examples from some countries followed by an interactive session where participants will be able to test their understanding of 2 Layer wholesale products. The workshop will be concluded with a discussion with representatives of the industry and the European Commission.
 
The workshop will be attended on behalf of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) by a senior expert for market analysis, Mr. Tomislav Lovrić.
