The International Conference on Effective Management in the Public Sector took place in Zagreb. The Conference covered, among other things, the practical implementation of the national reform programme, the instruments for consolidating the state IT infrastructure and public resources in state administration.
ZAGREB, 25 May 2016 – A company entitled Kontroling Kognosko d.o.o. and a business weekly magazine Lider organized the Second International Conference on Effective Management in the Public Sector in partnership with the consulting firm Outcome Management Consulting. The Conference was sponsored by the Ministry of Finance. This year’s conference was divided into three topics: state budget controlling, strategic controlling in the public sector and operational controlling in the public sector. The Minister of Finance, Mr. Zdravko Marić, gave a lecture on the topic of “Fiscal Responsibility in the Republic of Croatia”, and the Minister of Administration, Mrs. Dubravka Jurlina Alibegović talked about the efficiency of public administration. The Conference covered, among other things, the practical implementation of the national reform programme, the instruments for consolidating the state IT infrastructure and public resources in state administration. The Conference was attended by representatives of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), including the Head of the Economic Affairs Department, Mrs. Gordana and the senior accounting expert Mrs. Sanja Hrvoj.
