HAKOM at the Meeting of the WGFM Working Group

At the meeting of the working group for the management of the radio frequency spectrum (WGFM), the representatives of the CEPT member countries and equipment manufacturers are discussing the topics on mobile, fixed, satellite, maritime and short-range (SRD) communications.
ZAGREB, May 24, 2016 - The 85th meeting of the WG FM is taking place in Helsinki, Finland. The working group is responsible for managing the radio frequency spectrum with the special emphasis on harmonization among all the member countries of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT). One hundred and eight representatives of the regulatory authorities, administrations and equipment manufacturers are taking part in the meeting. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) is represented by Alen Štefanec.
At the meeting, which is taking place until May 27, the measurements in the radio frequency spectrum, satellite communications, radio microphones, communications for personal use, short-range devices, public mobile communications, maritime communications, unmanned aerial vehicles and radars will be discussed/are being discussed. Moreover, the results of the World Radio-Communication Conference and the broadband networks for emergency management will also be discussed.
