Warning to Users: A New Deceitful Attempt

Zagreb, 27 April 2016 - Today a new attempted abuse of the electronic communications has been recorded as well as a fraudulent attempt intended to the users who received an SMS with the text "Call me urgently “002486429171". Any user who chooses to call the number from the message may significantly increase his expenses. Therefore, we advise the users not to respond to such and similar text messages especially in case they are not sure of the origin of the message.
In cooperation with HAKOM the operators blocked a certain range of numbers from the message, those coming from the island of Seychelles and they continued monitoring telecommunications traffic with the above mentioned destination.
In case of receiving the messages of possible abus , fraud or unwanted electronic communication you are kindly requested to immediately inform your operator or HAKOM.
