HAKOM at the Second European Congress of Local Governments

Mr. Dražen Lučić, President of the Council of HAKOM participated in the round table called “On the way to the City of the Future - Smart City between Vision and Reality within the thematic programme “Innovations”.
 
ZAGREB, April 6, 2016 - The second European Congress of local self-governments entitled “Local Government Today - People, Cooperation, Innovations “was held in the Polish city of Krakow. Within the framework of the Congress a round table was held on the topic “City of the Future - Smart City between Vision and Reality”. Mr. Dražen Lučić, President of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) participated in the round table within the thematic programme “Innovations”.
 
More than 500 participants took part in the Congress which is representing a platform for the exchange of experience, knowledge and views on the issues of the local government such as: entrepreneurs, representatives of civil society and representatives of local and national authorities from all over Europe including Mr. Pawel Wlodarczyk, Honorary Consul of Croatia. Within the scope of the Congress which proved to be another opportunity to consider the ways of increasing the efficiency in the use of EU Structural Funds 5 panel discussions were held with more than 50 topical workshops, forums and lectures.
