HAKOM: Invitation to the Girls to take part at the Competition entitled "My Ideal Robot’

By promoting the ICT occupations the aim is to encourage children to develop their IT skills especially the girls of primary school age with the ultimate goal to choose their occupation and employment in the ICT sector.

 
ZAGREB, April 6 2016 - On the occasion of the International Girls in ICT day, the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) organizes the competition with the ultimate goal of raising awareness among girls and women about the importance of participating in the field of ICT. The promotion of the ICT is aimed at encouraging the development of IT skills especially the girls of primary school age by strengthening the knowledge and skills in the use of technology with the ultimate aim of choosing their occupation and employment in the ICT sector.

The competition is intended for all 7th and 8th grade girls from the elementary schools on the territory of the Republic Croatia on the topic "My ideal robot".
The objective is to encourage creativity, therefore there are various possibilities to participate at the competition which is open until April 15, 2016.
