HAKOM at a workshop on M2M communications

Participants at a workshop organized by the Electronic Communications Committee (ECC) are discussing the allocation and use of the radio frequency spectrum and the addressing and numbering space with the view to coordinating the existing and future M2M applications.
 
ZAGREB, 22 March 2016 – The Electronic Communications Committee (ECC) organized a workshop of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) in Mainz, Germany. The workshop was hosted by the German regulatory authority Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA) and attended by representatives of national regulatory authorities, known experts in the electronic communications sector and representatives of the economy.
 
The main topic of the workshop is M2M - Machine-To-Machine Communications, including the discussions on the allocation and use of the RF spectrum and the addressing and numbering space for the purposes of coordination of existing and future M2M applications. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) is represented at the meeting by a senior expert for public networks, Mr. Gordan Šimac, and a senior expert for addressing and numbering, Mr. Robert Vulas.
