HAKOM at the Meeting of the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG)

At the meeting the report was adopted on the effective allocation and the use of radio frequency spectrum as well as the RSPG opinion on the policy of spectrum management in the EU Member States.

 
ZAGREB, February 25, 2016 - The meeting of the Radio Spectrum Policy Group – RSPG was held in Brussels. It is an advisory group operating within the European Commission. The report on the effective allocation and the use of radio frequency spectrum as well as the RSPG opinion on the spectrum management policy in the EU Member States were adopted at the meeting. In addition, the Work Programme for the current year was adopted. Following the invitation of the organizer the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) the results of the World Radio-communication Conference WRC-15 were analysed as well as the cooperation with the European regulatory authority for electronic communications, BEREC (Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications). The meeting was attended by Željko Tabaković, Assistant Director of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM).
 
Željko Tabaković took part in the meeting of the Working Group on cross-border co-ordination ("Good Office") dealing with the interference issues among the EU Member States. The interference issue caused by Italian radio and TV broadcasters was discussed at the meeting well.
