HAKOM at the 9th Meeting of the "European Network Rail Regulatory Bodies"(ENRRB)

The two-day meeting of the European Commission advisory body was held in Brussels. The issues and experience in the field of railway services regarding the alignment with the European Union level were the topics discussed at the meeting and HAKOM’s experts participated as well.
 
ZAGREB, January 18, 2016 - The 9th meeting of the European Network of Rail Regulatory Bodies (ENRRB) was held in Brussels on January 18 and19. It is the European Commission advisory body responsible for the issues and experiences in the field of railway services in order to align with the European Union level. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Mr. Nikola Popović,  Member of the Board and Ms. Nataša Prgeša Oliva, Senior Railway Services Expert.
 
The topics which were discussed at the meeting were as follows: current situation regarding the cooperation of regulatory bodies, the fourth railway package and the implementation measures. In addition to the discussion of these topics, the presentations were held by Dutch, Croatian, Danish and German regulators. During the meeting there was the database management system presentation (DAREBO) as well as the activity presentation by IRG-Rail's (Independent Rail Regulator’s Group).
