HAKOM's Experts Advised Consumers in Bakar

The Workshop on "Advising Consumers" was held in cooperation with the Consumer Centre, Croatian Association for Consumer Protection where the participants were informed about operators’ and consumers’ rights in the field of electronic communications services by the experts from HAKOM.
ZAGREB, November 9, 2015 - In cooperation with the Consumer Centre, Croatian Association for Consumer Protection, the workshop on "Advising Consumers” was held in Bakar. The workshop was attended by the representatives of consumer protection associations and other citizens interested in this topic. On behalf of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), the workshop was attended by the experts and lecturers for consumer protection Marina Ljubić Karanović and Andro Marčev.
During an interesting and interactive discussion the participants were informed about operators’ and consumers’ rights in the field of electronic communications services regarding the conclusion and termination of subscriber’s contracts, the possibility of controlling consumption and protection of the unwanted billings and new consumer rights prescribed by HAKOM which came into force on 1 May 2015.
