HAKOM and AEM Organize the Initial Meeting on "Digital Radio in the Area of the City of Zagreb"

DAB + technology will be presented at the meeting in order to inform the participants about the possibilities of providing multimedia services on the digital radio platform.
 
ZAGREB, 20 October 2015 – The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) and the Agency for Electronic Media (AEM) are the organizers of an initial meeting on "Digital Radio in the area of the city of Zagreb" which will be held on Friday, October 23 2015. Digital radio (DAB +) is a technological platform of the European standard which transmits multimedia content based on the radio programme within the frequency band beyond currently used FM analogue sound broadcasting (analogue radio).

Technology DAB + will be presented at the meeting in order to inform the participants about the possibilities of providing multimedia services on the digital radio platform. It is of great importance that all present and future radio market participants provide the information on potential plans and exchange their suggestions for the provision of digital radio services in the Zagreb area.
