HAKOM at the Meetings of RSC and the Working Group on Cross-Border Coordination

The meeting of the Radio Spectrum Committee – RSC dealing with the operational decisions regarding the management of the radio frequency spectrum in the European Union, as well as the meeting of the Working Group on Cross-border co-ordination ("Good Office") established by the Advisory Group Policy RF spectrum management were held in Brussels.
ZAGREB, October 9, 2015 - The meeting of the Radio Spectrum Committee – RSC dealing with the operational decisions regarding the management of the radio frequency spectrum in the European Union was held in Brussels. This working group, inter alia, shall adopt the implementing decisions of the European Commission related to RF spectrum management in the EU Member States.
The meeting was attended by the representative of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Activities (HAKOM) Mr. Željko Tabaković, Assistant Director
MSc. Željko Tabaković took part in the meeting of the Working Group on Cross-border co-ordination ("Good Office") which was established by the Advisory Group for the RF spectrum management policy at the European Commission, dealing with the issues related to the interference among the EU Member States.
The most important topics of the meeting were discussions related to the harmonization of the 700 MHz frequency band for mobile services, as well as the decision for PMSE usage (program making and special events) in the 2 GHz band as well the discussion on the decision related to the usage of the 2.3 GHz frequency band for broadband access
