HAKOM Put Into Operation the "Cost Estimator” Application

ZAGREB, Sept 8, 2015 - HAKOM put into operation the free application "Cost Estimator ", an internet service for all private users of electronic communications services who want to easily choose the optimal tariff according to their habits of phone calls and / or use of the Internet. The application estimates the total monthly cost of all active tariffs and operators, without possible calculated discount, based on information entered by the user while starting from the cheapest to the most expensive tariff the application displays the most favourable tariff .The operator’s offer can be additionally expanded by displaying five cheapest tariffs by all operators. After the calculation and display, all offered tariffs have links to the operators’ website, were further information on tariff, including a variety of discounts and benefits can be found .In this way, the users can get all information more easily at one place and simply choose the most favourable operator and tariff and finally reduce the cost of telecommunications services.

The application on the home screen offers a choice of six types of services, three for the services in the networks of fixed and mobile communications: phone, the Internet access or the service that includes both. Basic consumption indicators that should be filled in by the user appear by selecting the type of service such as: the number and duration of calls, international calls and their duration as well as the amount of data traffic and speeds of the Internet access. The application enables more detailed consumption specification, if desired, by simply selecting more detailed data entry, where in addition to the number and duration of calls, the exact number of calls and minutes toward the same operator and other operators can be determined, whether the calls toward numbers in fixed and mobile communication networks were made, in which part of the day the calls were made and even whether the individual calls were made on weekends or holidays. In addition to it, it is possible to specify in detail the number and duration of international calls to most frequently dialed countries from Croatia, such as Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Germany, Slovenia and Serbia, and select calls according to the rest of Europe or the world.
 
The Cost Estimator is not the system for billing and cannot calculate monthly bill of individual services with absolute precision and can only evaluate the user's monthly cost, but at the same time can be very useful when the users look for the most favourable offer on the market according to their habits and preferences. It is important to point out that due to better understanding the calculation shows the monthly cost without calculated discount, bonus, or similar benefits that can ultimately reduce the amount of monthly bills. All these benefits have to be taken into consideration at final selection of most favourable tariff where direct Internet links to pages of displayed tariff will be of great help.
