HAKOM at the Meeting of BEREC’s Expert Working Group for the Implementation of the Regulatory Framework

Zagreb, September 2 2015 - In Brussels, the meeting of BEREC’s Expert Working Group (Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications) in charge of the implementation of the regulatory framework on electronic communications market was held.
The topic on the upcoming Amendments to the EU Regulatory Framework on the Electronic Communications Market was also discussed at the meeting with the focus on sufficient connection of the end-users with the electronic communications networks.
The European Commission carried out the process of revising the regulatory framework in the field of electronic communications within a wider strategy called "Digital Single Market", which includes audio- visual communication service, electronic communications services, copyrighted works and electronic commerce. The European Commission would like to give BEREC a privileged position in this process and to the greatest extent the attitudes and opinions of BEREC should be taken into account.
The participants of the meeting were the representatives of regulatory authorities of the EU Member States, the renowned experts in the field of electronic communications. HAKOM’s experts Mr. Domagoj Maričić and Ms. Marina Mustapić actively participated at the meeting.
