HAKOM's experiences presented in Sarajevo as an example of good regulatory practice

A seminar on the control of concentrations, abuse of dominant position and cooperation between competition authorities and regulatory authorities in the electronic communications sector is taking place in Sarajevo. One of the lecturers was Mr. Nikola Popović, a member of HAKOM’s council, who talked on the topic of the “Legal framework and cooperation practice between competition authorities and regulatory authorities in the electronic communications sector”.
 
ZAGREB, 22 July 2015 – A three-day seminar on the control of concentrations, abuse of dominant position and cooperation between competition authorities and regulatory authorities in the electronic communications sector is taking place in Sarajevo within the framework of an assistance project for the development of competition policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is financed by the European Commission.  
 
The seminar is intended for employees of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the lecturers at the seminar was Mr. Nikola Popović, a member of the Council of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) who talked on the topic of the “Legal framework and cooperation practice between competition authorities and regulatory authorities in the electronic communications sector”.
 
The participation of the above-mentioned HAKOM’s expert in the seminar, who presented activities and experiences of the Croatian national regulatory authority, is another confirmation of expertize and reputation enjoyed by HAKOM and HAKOM’s experts in the country and abroad.
