HAKOM Organized the Round Table with the Stakeholders on the Postal Services Market

HAKOM organized another round table as a further step towards improvement of the postal services market regulation and the promotion of regulatory predictability through joint dialogue and discussion about topics of joint interest.

ZAGREB, June 16, 2015 - Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), within the scope of its regular business activities, organized the second round table with the aim of improving and intensifying the communication with all stakeholders on the postal services market, especially with the postal services providers. The round table was attended by the representatives of almost all postal services providers on the market and the representative of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Transport and Communications Department. Within the scope of HAKOM’s preventive activities on the market, the aim of the round table was to inform all postal services providers about the obligations, opportunities and challenges present on the market, as well as to intensify communication and discussion on the issues of joint interest. Therefore, within the framework of the round table, the special attention was paid to the postal services market review, the application of VAT on postal services as well as about one segment of the international postal traffic.
