HAKOM at the Symposium on the Role of Regulators in the Development of the Croatian Economy

HAKOM is participating at the 50th Symposium on “The role of regulators in the development of the Croatian economy, which will be held  between 11 and 13 June in Opatija.
 
ZAGREB, June 11, 2015 - In Opatija, the 50th Symposium on“ The role of regulators in the development of the Croatian economy, organized by the Croatian Association of Accountants and Financial Experts, in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Auditors is being held.
 
The Symposium, which will take place until June 13, consists of six plenary sessions and in each of them a certain number of exhibitors will be participating after which the roundtable discussion will follow. One plenary session refers to the regulatory authorities in the Republic of Croatia (HERA). The representatives of HERA talked about their role in the regulation in the field of energy market, the representatives of HANFA on the role of regulators in financial markets whilst the representative of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Authorities (HAKOM) presented the regulatory role of the electronic communications, postal and railway services market
 
HAKOM’s role in the electronic communications, postal services and railway transport market was presented by Mr. Marko Čavlović., Deputy Director. After all exhibitors' presentations had finished, an interactive round table discussion followed, involving the audience questions with  emphasis on how to efficiently  direct  the regulatory role into  the economic development.
