HAKOM Participated in Mediation in the Agreement between the Inhabitants of Velika and Mala Ostrna with the Operators

The reconstruction of the access network was agreed according to which the users will be able to access the high speed Internet. This refers to HRK 1 million worth investment and three new access nodes will be built too.
ZAGREB, June 3, 2015 - Following the request of the inhabitants of Velika I Mala Ostrna near Dugo Selo, interested in the improvement of the quality of the access network in their region , HAKOM’s experts held a series of meetings, aiming to improve customer service. In cooperation with the operators providing the telecommunications services in that area, especially with HT, which owns the local access network, a network reconstruction agreement was made. The above-mentioned agreement is in accordance with the objectives of the Digital Agenda, who prescribes the speed of 30 Mbit to each inhabitant until 2020. It concerns 1 million worth investment. Moreover, three new access nodes will be built. The project should be completed until the end of the year, but it will primarily depend on the cooperation of the local authorities regarding the period necessary to obtain all required permits.
