Zagreb,1 June , 2015- In the railway transport market, the infrastructure service provider, Infrastruktura d.o.o. marked a slight increase in the use of railway facilities. The biggest growth in the railway infrastructure was recorded in the vehicles’ shunting and manoeuvring services. In comparison to the last quarter there is a lower interest in the use of railway infrastructure as one of the services on the market, therefore the lower quantity of freight and passenger train kilometres has been achieved. In comparison to the same quarter of the previous year a decrease of 6 % was recorded.

In passenger transport service, there was a decrease of 5% in the number of transported passengers while freight transport recorded the decrease of 18% compared to the previous quarter. By comparing these indicators with the first quarter of 2014, a slight decrease of 3% was marked.
