HAKOM at the workshop on increasing accessibility of communications services to persons with disabilities

ZAGREB, 19 March 2015 – A workshop entitled "Smart Accessibility on Connected TV" was organized in Barcelona by the Autonomous University of Barcelona in partnership with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the European Commission. The workshop is based on the framework of the ITU regional initiative aimed at ensuring the accessibility of telecommunications/information and communication technology, in particular to persons with disabilities, which was adopted at the sixth World Telecommunication Development Congress which took place in Dubai in 2014.
The purpose of the workshop was to exchange experiences in relation to the accessibility of services and practical solutions for service providers in order to ensure greater and improved accessibility of services to persons with disabilities.
