Deputy President of Council of HAKOM, Domagoj Jurjević, representing BEREC at the REGULATEL summit in Puerto Rico

At the plenary session of REGULATEL, the Latin American umbrella regulatory authority, BEREC was represented by Mr. Domagoj Jurjević, Deputy President of the Council of HAKOM and Vice President of BEREC.
ZAGREB, 19 November 2014 – Deputy President of the Council of HAKOM and Vice President of BEREC, Domagoj Jurjević, represented BEREC, as the umbrella European regulatory authority for electronic communications, at the 17 th plenary session of REGULATEL, the Latin American counterpart of BEREC. The plenary session took place on 17 and 18 November in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The plenary session included a round table on topic such as network neutrality, internet governance, broadband as the universal telecommunications service and, in general, influence of electronic communications on the development of society. In addition to participating in the round table, Mr. Jurjević also gave an overview of BEREC work programme 2015 and the organization and manner of operation of BEREC’s work groups.
