Guidance on granting the licence for the use of radio frequency spectrum on an aircraft
 
The application for granting the licence for the use of radio frequency spectrum shall be submitted to HAKOM in writing.
 
When submitting the application for granting of the above-mentioned licence the applicant must:
 
  • Accurately complete the application form for granting the licence for the use of radio frequency spectrum on an aircraft;
  • The completed form must be supplemented by the following:
    • Documents pursuant to Article 14, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Ordinance on conditions for assignment and use of the radio frequency spectrum (OG 45/12, OG 50/12OG 97/14 and OG 116/17), i.e. a copy of navigation certificate of an aircraft or aircraft certificate registration, or, in case the applicant does not posses the above, it is necessary to submit some other document containing information on the certificate of aircraft registration, call identification, type, owner of the aircraft and ELT code.
    • The original of the previously granted licenceif change of data in the relevant licence is requested.
    • A copy of a certificate or another public document containing data on the personal identification number (OIB)(1)
    • If the applicant is represented by an authorised person, it is necessary to enclose the power of attorney (verifified by a public notary) for representation in the process of obtaining the licence and corresponding invoices
    • If the applicant does not have residence in RH, it is necessary to enclose the  evidence of empowerment verified by a public notary, defining person authorised for receiving written communications in the name of the applicant. 
(1)  In case an applicant has previously provided HAKOM with a certificate or another public document containing data on OIB, such an applicant shall not have the obligation to re-submit them for further licences.
   
Note:
The fee for the granting of licence and use of the radio frequency spectrum shall be paid upon HAKOM’s written request once the application has been processed
