PRESS RELEASE

Decrease in the number of services, which has been present for several quarters, was stopped in the first quarter of 2014

ZAGREB, 13 June 2014 – A positive growth trend in the number of services on the postal services market, which was noticed in late 2013, continued in the first quarter of 2014, with a slight 2% increase in the number of services compared to the same period of the previous year. This resulted in the same revenue earned from the provision of postal services although prices of some services dropped due to increased competition.
A total of 23 providers of postal services provided around 88 million services, with the greatest share, of around 70%, held by HP-Hrvatska pošta.
