HAKOM at the 9th International Electronic Communications Regulators Conference

 A cooperation agreement between HAKOM and ICTA/BIK was signed at the 9th International Electronic Communications Regulators Conference held in Istanbul on 29 and 30 May
 
ZAGREB, 02 June 2014 – The 9th International Electronic Communications Regulators Conference entitled “Impact of New Technologies and Innovations on Market Regulation” took place on 29 and 30 May. The Conference was organized by the Turkish electronic communications regulatory authority (ICTA/BTK), and it gathered heads of regulatory authorities from more than 20 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, including four ministers and Brahima Sanou, Director of Development at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and Fatima Barros, future chairperson of the European regulator, BEREC. HAKOM was represented at the conference by the President of the Council, Dražen Lučić, PhD, who presented a lecture entitled “Electronic Communications Market in Croatia: Looking to the Future.”
 
Upon proposal of the Turkish regulatory authority ICTA/BTK, Tayfuna Acarera, a cooperation agreement between HAKOM and ICTA/BTK was signed during the conference, which is another confirmation of HAKOM’s international reputation.
