NEWS

HAKOM received eight tenders for the development of “METAREGISTAR” application aimed at improving services for citizens provided by public bodies.

ZAGREB, 13 May 2014 – After the expiry of the deadline for the submission of tenders in the eighth public procurement procedure for the development of applications for social good, HAKOM carried out the public opening of tenders. Eight tenders were received for the development of the application “METAREGISTAR”, which will enable the planning and management of information and contribute to the interoperability and coordination in the building and development of national IT infrastructure, in particular of the system of public registers. The purpose of the establishment of a management system for the national IT infrastructure is to create preconditions for the provision of integrated interinstitutional services and to develop and support interoperability of complex electronic services, that is, to interconnect the public administration IT system.

The development of applications should contribute to quicker development of a “broadband ecosystem” – broadband networks, useful applications for citizens and IT infrastructures such as servers and user terminals. HAKOM has so far started with the development web applications in the fields of health, protection and rescue, education, agriculture, e-trade and e-government services.
