HAKOM participates in ROZP’s “Informed Consumer” workshop

ROZP - a regional organisation for consumer protection, has organised the “Informed Consumer” thematic workshop under the project on electronic communication services entitled “I’ve read it and I agree”, with the participation of HAKOM’s experts.
 
ZAGREB, 11 April 2014 – ROZP – a regional organisation for consumer protection organised today a thematic workshop on information and consumer protection in electronic communications in Karlovac. HAKOM was among the workshop participants. The workshop, under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, is the first one of a total of two planned workshops for the contribution to raising the “literacy” of consumers-users of electronic communications. The main topics which will be discussed include unfair business practice, unfair provisions in consumer agreements and the protection of electronic communications users.  HAKOM’s experts will introduce the role of HAKOM in the protection of consumers – users of electronic communication services, as well as the obligations of operators and the rights of end users.
 
The second workshop will take place on 14 April in Opatija.
