HAKOM launches 8th public tender for development of socially useful applications

ZAGREB, 1 April 2014 – HAKOM has launched a new public tender for the development of socially-useful applications, second this year. The launched tender for the implementation of the selected ideas is a continuation of a successfully implemented cycle of tenders in the previous year under the Programme for the Internet and broadband access development in the areas of special state concern, hilly and mountainous areas and on islands. The development of applications aims at contributing to a faster development of the “broadband ecosystem” – broadband networks, applications useful to the population and the information infrastructure such as servers and user terminals.
 

METAREGISTER – the application will enable the planning and information management through the building of Metaregister, which will also ensure the transparency of state information infrastructure management and contribute to the interoperability and coordination in the building and development of state information infrastructure, and in particular of the system of public registers. The aim of setting up the system for state information infrastructure management is to meet the preconditions for the implementation of overall inter-institutional services and the development and support of interoperability of complex electronic services, i.e. interconnection of the public administration’s IT system.
