ZAGREB, 17 March 2014 – The Administrative Court of the Republic of Croatia has confirmed the decision adopted by the Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) as a result of user’s complaint concerning the quality of operator’s service with regard to the unfounded charging of the fee for the authorised person’s visit on site for the repair of a defect. The ruling confirms HAKOM’s decision from which it results that the operator has no grounds to charge the attempt at removing the defect for which it is not proven to be caused by the subscriber’s defective installation.
The Administrative Court’s ruling has confirmed HAKOM’s attempts at setting a high level of protection of electronic and postal services users.
