The consultation is open until 20 February. ZAGREB, 6 February 2014 – The Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure has launched a public consultation on the draft Act on Amendments to the Electronic Communications Act. The draft proposal of the Act contains the proposal to merge the Rail Market Regulatory Agency (RMRA) with the Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM). In this way, a single national regulatory authority will be set up for the regulation of the electronic communications market, the postal services market and the railway services market – the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries. The public consultation is open until 20 February 2014.
