The 61st International Symposium ELMAR-2019 held in ZadarNEWSHAKOM also actively participated in this event this year through lectures, round tables, panel discussions
ZAGREB, September 26, 2019 -, the oldest conference in Europe was held in Zadar from September 23 to 25. The scientific programme included a lecture by prominent international experts and a presentation which was held by accepted members. Scientific papers are reviewed, and accepted scientific paper is published in the Proceedings in prestigious international bibliographic data. During the conference a series of sessions was held and accepted, as well as panel discussion and workshop.
HAKOM actively participated this year again. Bringing together eminent scientists and experts, the first day of the conference invoked the topic "The biggest challenges facing 5G: security, health issues and the challenges of building a network" held by Miran Gosta. In his lecture, he spoke about the biggest challenges facing 5G technologies, such as safety, health care and networking. In the afternoon, HAKOM co-organized the round table "A New Era of Digital Terrestrial Television in Croatia", where; current topics related to the DVB-T2 system in the Republic of Croatia were discussed. As a panellist, this roundtable was attended by Krešimir Šakić, Senior Expert in the RF Spectrum Management Department. On the last day of the conference, within the scope of the ELMAR programme , a paper work entitled "Perspectives of Digital Radio Development in Croatia", Danijel Vlahović, Head of RF Spectrum Control Department, and Srećko Mimica, senior specialist in the RF Spectrum Management Department. In his presentation, Vlahović spoke about the prospects for the development of digital radio in Croatia.
